Description of the KIP
June 10 is WORLD WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY and HISAM is hosting a super special stitching Saturday! Drop by from 11-3 and you’ll find not just knitters but stitchers from Aloha Knitters & Crocheters, the Hawai‘i Handweavers’ Hui, and the Hawai‘i Stitchery & Fibre Art Guild in various locations throughout the museum. Pull up a chair and learn something new from them or bring your favorite fiber project to stitch alongside them. Techniques will include yarn spinning, knitting, crocheting, weaving, embroidering, and coiling. Free and open to the public.
What to bring
Food may be brought inside the building if consumed on the lanai areas or cafe tables (unfortunately cafe service is currently closed).

[No backup plan]
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
