Description of the KIP
This is the first Winston-Salem Knit in Public event, and we welcome all knitters, from beginners to experienced. We will gather at the Gateway Nature Preserve’s Story Circle, a lovely shady place to knit surrounded by nature. Bring your knitting, whether it is a WIP or a pattern you want to try, but may need some encouragement to tackle!
What to bring
The Story Circle has tree stumps to sit on, but if you prefer a chair, by all means bring one! a hat, sunscreen, and water or another beverage are good things to bring, too.
In case of rain, please
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
