Description of the KIP
Local charity knitting group, Good Omen Goodeze affectionately known as GOG, is inviting members of the public, to join them for a day of knitting and crochet! Take the time to knit or crochet a square for a blanket to be donated to the Canberra Hospital or bring along your own project to work on. We’ll have wool, hooks and needles available for beginners, as well as French knitting spools and pompom makers for children to learn a new skill and join in the fun! We will also hold a raffle and ‘crafty lucky dips’ on the day to raise funds to support our charity.
What to bring
Bring a current project if you have one, or some wool and a pattern if you would like to start one. Chairs and tables will be provided, but depending on numbers, a pillow to sit on may be useful.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
