We will meet here
Ashburton Public Library
Description of the KIP
Combining Knitting in Public with Reusing & Upcycling, we’ll have yarn, needles and notions on hand and show you how to make Twiddlemuffs – “Twiddlemuffs (or twiddlemitts) are knitted hand-warmers that provide sensory stimulation for people living with dementia. They keep restless hands busy and soothe and comfort those who are anxious or agitated.” (Source: https://www.goldencarers.com/how-to-make-twiddlemuffs/5015/)
Or just join us for a natter, with or without your own project. Children welcome.
What to bring
If you have your own project, bring that with you. You may like to bring your water bottle.
Booked in at the library, weather not an issue.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
