Description of the KIP
Meet us near the new Harriet Tubman statue (by the riverfront) in Howard Park. Did you know Harriet was a knitter too? Even revolutionaries love knitting! Wear your favorite shawl and/or bandana! We will be installing the community shawl we knitted to decorate the statue for the day.
What to bring
camp chair/blanket, favorite snacks, fiber arts projects
Backup plan:
We can go inside the community center at Howard Park incase theirs heavy rain.
