Description of the KIP
Everyone is welcome to the first Battersea Park Library ‘Knit in Public Day’. All levels, from complete beginners to experts and enthusiasts can join in. Knitting and crochet can be taught on the day. No need to bring anything, we will provide wool, needles and crochet hooks. We will also be holding a Craft Sale (all items made by group members) with all the proceeds going to charity in memory of one the founding group members. Refreshments including drinks and cake will be provided throughout the day to keep everyone energised with any donations going towards the charity.
What to bring
Chairs, tables and refreshments (hot drinks and snacks) will be provided. We have a good suplly of spare wool/yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks of all sizes should people wish to learn.
Backup plan:
If the weather is not pleasant we can go inside the library and continue to host the event inside.
