What to bring:
Bring your projects, blanket, snacks and good humour. We won't be hard to find and be ready to share your love of the fibre art to all who come by and ask… "Are you making me socks?

Backup plan:

Please note that we do not have a contingency plan should it be a blustery, rainy day.

Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?

Very exciting! Just a suggestion, if it is a rainy/ blustery, day (you know, not that, that kind of thing EVER happens in YEG…) Enterprise Square is a short walk away, free and has plenty of seating. (the restaurant isn’t open on Saturdays). It is in the old Bay building and where the library is. I think it still qualifies as public? Our fountain pen group meets there every month and has never had a problem. Also, I have never been to one of these, is it ok to come late?

    Hi Sherry…

Good questions… You may arrive anytime that best suits you.

As for an alternate spot… while the Enterprise Square is a great idea, we have not made arrangements for an alternate location as part of this particular event. That being said, there is as southside group that is planning an event at the Millwoods Rec Centre (7207-28 Ave) that is open to any one. They have a registered KIP as well.

    Fingers crossed for sunny weather…

Hi! What time does this start and end? (I work and don’t want to miss it)

Will there be seating or will we need to bring our own chairs? Also, might I suggest using city hall as a contingency plan should the weather turn?
