World Wide Knit in Public Day

Yarning in the Park

Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 10:00-15:00

We will meet here:

Walton Bridge Park

Waterworks Road

4061 The Gap

Description of the KIP:

Knitters and crocheters of all levels are welcome, come along for as long/short a time as you like. Even if you have never tried before there will be plenty of people to guide you through your first stitches! The aim is just to enjoy the company of fellow yarners.

I will teach beginners to crochet a granny square at 11.00 and beginner knitters at 2.00.

What to bring:
Please bring some food to share a comfy chair and a project to work on. If you are a beginner there will be some yarn, hooks and needles for you to use – a gold coin donation would be great.

Backup plan:
As there is a shelter, there is no need for a backup plan!

Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
Yes, Free
