World Wide Knit in Public Day

WWKiP-Indian Boundary Park

Date: June 10, 2017. Time: 10am-4pm

We will meet here:

Indian Boundary Park, near the Nature Play Center

2500 W. Lunt

60645 Chicago

United States

We will be around the Nature Play Center, in the NW part of the Park.

Description of the KIP:

We will continue to work on Lisa Whiting's communal knitting project, "Community Cast On," as well as anything you bring and want to work on of course! If you want to read more about Lisa's project, here is the link:
Other than that, please bring something you would like to sit on, your yarn, tools (knitting, crochet, you name it, it is all welcome) and please join for some public crafting in a beautiful park.

What to bring:
You will want to bring something to sit on, there are only so many park benches. Also, this is a huge park, so getting to food will take a while, so packing something to eat and drink is a good idea. There are public restrooms in the Field House.

Backup plan:

In case of rain, we will gather in the Nature Play Area, which is in the NW part of the park.

Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
Yes, Free
