Apricot Yarn & Supply & Liberty Station
2690 Historic Decatur Rd

2690 Historic Decatur Rd is also called Barracks 19 in Liberty Station. We’re just down the sidewalk from Liberty Public Market, and directly across the street from Slater’s 50/50.
Description of the KIP
Join us and knit (crochet too!) in public to show off your skills to the world. 😍 Whether you’re brand new to the fiber arts, or a veteran, working on your craft in public shows the world what we love to do! No RSVP and no cost.
We will have indoor and outdoor seating available in and around our shop all day on June 10, 10am-5pm. Or… feel free to bring your favorite outdoor chair and sit in the sun or shade in any of the beautiful green spaces around Liberty Station. Plus… our Knit-by-the-Public Scarf will be on display all day. Anyone is welcome to add a row to this community piece!
What to bring
Bring your projects, a chair or blanket, and a friend!
There is plenty of covered outdoor space in the arcade and the patio. Indoors is available for a limited number of stitchers, as we do only have a small footprint in the shop itself.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
This KIP is hosted by: Sara Heckman, Owner, Apricot Yarn & Supply
