Directions:
The lovely War Memorial Lower Hutt Library have welcomed us in…so it will be warm and comfy and a great place to sit, chat knit or crochet a funky chicken.

Description of the KIP:

Come along to support Forest & Bird and join the knit & crochet along to make funky chickens, once youve finished your chicken post a photo on Wonky Stitches NZ facebook page to go in to win! Also Winter Woolly Bird Count to run around Lower Hutt to see if you can find the 25 hidden crochet birds and take photo's to post on facebook or write down their names and secret codes on the map (maps at the library or off fb). What to bring:
Bring along your knitting needles or crochet hook (4mm or close), bring a koha (donation) to support Forest & Bird. We supply the chicken knit or crochet pattern, yarn and stuffing too.

Backup plan:

No back up, as the library has welcomed us in and has comfy chairs, even a few bean bag seats to choose from too, a cafe in the same building, public toilets and space for lots of people to come 😁
