World Wide Knit in Public Day

In the Bay Room community rooms. Enter either through the Foyer from Stokes Street, or through The Vestry Shop from Hesse Street.

Description of the KIP

Ours is two-day event on both Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June.
We will be knitting mittens for homeless people, and squares for blankets for the Geelong Mums. Also please bring your own knitting. Chat and socialise with the others present.
Beginners and fully experienced people will be welcome, children and oldies too. Some tuition will be available at various times. Sit in the chairs available (or lie on the floor as you wish).
Locally made knits will be on display and available for sale, along with our best china, clothes and books.
Coffee, Tea and Slices will be available for sale.

What to bring
Bring yourself, a friend or two, and your knitting or crochet projects (or other fibre craft work).
You can enjoy the display in the Bay Room.

Backup plan:
None required as we will be inside the heated Bay Room community rooms in a seated knitting circle, warm and cosy in the Winter temperatures.
