Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 10:00-2:00
We will meet here:
St. Helens Public Library in the Columbia Center
375 S. 18th Street
97051 St. Helens
We’ll be in the lobby of the Columbia Center which is the building that houses the St. Helens Public Library.
Description of the KIP:
All knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, textile artisans and all other fiber fanatics are invited to join us for a day of communal creativity. All textile-based art forms, ability-levels and age groups are welcome! Last year, three spinners set up their wheels and spun. No formal demonstrations or instruction is planned at this time but if you drop by, there will certainly be someone to show you how to do a stitch or two. The St. Helens Public Library hosts a weekly Fiber Fanatics group, so check us out!
What to bring:
Bring your project to work on, water, and a sack lunch or snack. We will provide lots of chairs, but if you’d like to bring a portable chair or even a rocking chair from home – please do!
We will be indoors so no backup plan is necessary.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
