Description of the KIP
Bring your own project or I will provide two simple patterns to choose from for beginners. I hope this will be a great opportunity to get together and show off what we have already done or learn to knit for the first time.
Knitting can help develop math skills, reading and following instructions. knitting will expand your problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. The repetitive motion is a meditative and calming activity.
What to bring
Other supplies you could bring: 1 pair of size 9 needles and ball of yarn in your favorite color. Needles and yarn can often be found in the local Thrift stores or “Dollar stores”. I also have extra.
Backup plan:
If the Library becomes unavailable for any reason, we will meet at The Book Nook.
