Corner of Spring Garden & Summer Street
B3J 3S9 Halifax
Family Lawn area of the Gardens (corner of Spring Garden & Summer St.)
Description of the KIP:
We are meeting in the Family Lawn Area of Halifax Public Gardens – a Victorian Park/Garden and a 6-acre oasis in the heart of downtown Halifax. The Family Lawn area is ideally suited for a get-together of knitters and crafters. This area is a space where nannies knit, chatted and watched their charges play.
We will socialize with knitters we know and those we don’t and we will also have experienced knitters on hand to teach beginners the basics of Continental (Scandinavian) knitting.
What to bring:
Do bring your own water, snacks and blankets. The Gardens will supply garden benches for seating.
There is no rain-date for this event.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
This KIP is hosted by: Scandinavian Society of Nova Scotia
Number of KIP’s hosted before :-): This is our second annual event.
