Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We will meet here:
Rotary Park …. where the gold mermaid is.
Lower Ganges Road and Purvis Lane
V8K2T6 Salt Spring Island
Behind Thrifty’s parking lot overlooking the marinas in the harbour. Look for the huge gold mermaid statue!
Description of the KIP:
We will meet to knit, laugh, enjoy each other and help one another! All ages, all stages, all fun — bring your projects to work on or to get help, and bring your FO’s (finished objects) for us to admire. Yarn and needles will be available for charity knitting (and feel free to bring donations to that cause, if you want) .
What to bring:
Good idea to bring water, a folding chair or blanket, and a sun umbrella if you need one. 🙂 There are several restaurants nearby if you don’t want to bring your own snacks.
No back up plan, but there will be at least one ‘market’ tent to huddle under if it rains.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
This KIP is hosted by: Marilyn Guille
Number of KIP’s hosted before :-): Several!
