Description of the KIP
Calling all knitters and crocheters of the Northern Rivers NSW, it’s time to come out of the woods and show us your knitting skills. And if you don’t have any but want to give it a try, please come along too! This will be a yarn-filled afternoon, where anyone can bring along their knitting or crochet and show the general public that knitting can be a community activity that many people share… Enjoy a delicious Italian afternoon tea / prize for the BEST HANDMADE KNITWEAR WORN ON THE DAY / awesome RAFFLE YARN PRIZE – proceeds going to the Wedgetail Retreat & Tweed Palliative Support.
What to bring
– BYO yarn and tools – (if you don’t have any – yarn & tools can be purchased on the day)
– Hat and sunscreen
– $$ for afternoon tea and Raffle
– Any hand knitted items to show and tell
If its raining, we will move into the lovely undercover space of the M-Arts Precinct – which is directly behind Bacaro Cafe – same easy location!
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
