World Wide Knit in Public Day

Making A Mark KIP

Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 12 – 4pm

We will meet here:

Flag Market in front of the Harris Museum

PR1 2PP Preston

United Kingdom

Description of the KIP:

Join our Making A Mark celebration in Preston!

As well as live music, weaving, and artwork, we plan to have a ‘knitting circle’ for knitters to come and go as they please throughout the day. Either bring your own project to work on, or pick up one of our works in progress and add a few rows.

I’ll be running a Fleece to Fibre tent, where you can weave a panel for our growing artwork to be displayed.

Beginners very welcome, depending on how busy we are we may be able to help you get started.

What to bring:
Water, snacks, your knitting! We have chairs for you.
Toilets are available in the Harris Museum, and there are plenty of shops and cafes nearby.
Great public transport links.

Backup plan:
If it rains we will probably have space in the Harris Museum.

Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
Yes, Free
