Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 10 am – 2 pm
We will meet here:
Lake Elmo Library
3537 Lake Elmo Avenue North
55042 Lake Elmo
The parking lot is under construction and parking in lot may be limited or not available. Consider parking on Lake Elmo Avenue or in the lot to the north of the State Farm office, if space allows.
Description of the KIP:
Knitters and volunteer teachers will meet at the library and knit OUTSIDE if weather permits. We will have teachers and "new knitter kits" on hand, so anyone is welcome to knit with us, even those who never have before. (If you can write your name with a crayon, we can teach you to knit!) There will be informal opportunities for show and tell and assistance with knitting challenges and maybe a small amount of gossip (scratch that), visiting!
LUNCH: brown bag it (we can recommend nearby places to get a sandwich) or plan to take a lunch break at local eatery.
What to bring:
Your knitting! Also, a comfy chair and everything you need for outdoor knitting in MN: Parka, sunhat, water, finger-less gloves, sunscreen, bug stuff. Bathrooms/fridge/microwave will be available.
If weather is uncooperative, we will knit inside.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
