Date: June 10, 2017. Time: 1300-1500
We will meet here:
International Market Place, Waikiki
2330 Kalakaua Ave
Description of the KIP:
Aloha! Join us to meet new knitters and crocheters on island and enjoy the newly renovated International market Place in Waikiki. Event link-up will be in outdoor seating by the central banyan tree and depending on who shows and how long they want to stay, lots of fancy places for lunch too. Depending on the amount of people, we can spread out on the grassy area available amidst shoppers or on benches throughout the area so more people see us.
What to bring:
Bring your knitting project and a blanket or towel if the best seating option for us is on the ground by the tree. Also, bring extra cash if you want to stay for lunch. Although its after the formal portion of the event, Happy Hour is from 3-5 in most restaurants!
No current back up plan weather wise, we will post it to the associated event invite on Facebook: “Knitting with Aloha. World Wide Knit in Public Day- Hawaii” Do not recommend children if sitting still while the adults talk for two hours is more than they can handle.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
