World Wide Knit in Public Day

Knitters Unite at Evergreen Park Library

Date: June 10, 2017. Time: 10-12 noon

We will meet here:

Evergreen Park Public Library

9400 S. TROY

United States

Located at 94th and Troy, the library is one block northeast of 95th and Kedzie.

Description of the KIP:

Knit in the Reading Room of the Evergreen Park Public Library from 10am-12 noon to create warm knits for the needy of Evergreen Park. Knits created for this event can be added to the mitten tree that the library hosts over the holiday season.

What to bring:
Bring your knitting supplies, and any yarn you might like to swap. Don’t know how to knit but would like to learn? We can get you started with the basics of casting on, knitting and purling. Bring a pair of size 7 needles and some worsted weight yarn to learn the basics.

Backup plan:
If, for some reason, the library is closed that day, have fun knitting by yourself as usual.

Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
Yes, Free
