Date: June 8, 2019. Time: 10:00 a.m. to noon
We will meet here
John Collins Park Pavilion
5 Park Lane
Park by the Library on Henry Lush Lane and walk to the pavilion, within sight near the playground.
Description of the KIP
Bring your knitting, crocheting, spinning, or other fiber craft gear and enjoy the company of like-minded folks in beautiful John Collins Park! Water, hot beverages, and light snacks will be provided by Galeton Public Library free of charge. Beginners welcome… some loaner needles and yarn will be available. Questions? The local knitting group has decades of experience between us. In addition to the pavilion’s picnic table seating, the Library will provide chairs.
Playgrounds are available for children, but parents are reminded to keep an eye on the kids.
What to bring
Bring your current WIPs, as well as finished items to show off. Do you spin and/or dye? We’d love to see the results! If you need help getting stuff to the Pavilion, please ask at the Library.
In case of cold or wet weather, the event will be held in the Library.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
