Denver Parks and Recreation will be hosting a free knit in on the deck of the Buffalo Bill Museum in Lookout Mountain Park.
Description of the KIP
Enjoy spectacular views of Denver and Golden and receive a complimentary admission pass to the Buffalo Bill Museum. Knitters and crocheters of all ages and levels are welcome. Bring your current project. Extra yarn and needles will be available, but supplies are limited.
Transportation is available from the Denver’s Platt Park and Highland Recreation Center through Denver Park and Recreation’s Active Older Adults. See the Events and Programs page on the museum’s website for links
What to bring
There are a few picnic tables, but attendees should bring a chair, hat, sunscreen, water, and snacks. Food is available at the Pahaska Tepee Gift Shop and Café next to the museum.
In the event of inclement weather, the knit in will be moved to the Lookout Mountain Park picnic shelter, which is immediately outside the gate to the park.
