Description of the KIP

For our third year of World Wide Knit In Public Day, we are once again knitting for communities in need around Australia. Thanks to KOGO ( Knit One Give One) Charity, all items created on the day will be donated to this organisation for thoughtful distribution.
All levels of knitters and crocheters are welcome and in fact, all are welcome. Materials and patterns supplied.
We will be serving soup and rolls for lunch and afternoon tea in the Olive Way and Church Hall as led by our monthly craft group The Olive Pesto! We had big numbers last year and keen to top this! Join us!

Thanks Gwen. I responded to Pauline by email and yes, in agreement with all you’ve mentioned. Can’t wait to welcome one and all.

As a KOGO volunteer, The knitted (and crocheted) goods are distributed weekly to a range of grass roots organisations who distribute to adults, children and babies in Melbourne and Victoria. The recipients of knitted goods are thrilled to receive hand made garments made with love by wonderful knitters. This joint venture with KGR and KOGO will be most timely at the start of winter.
