Directions
It is the 8th time we knit in the Vilnius University botanical garden in Kairenai. This year we will knit in a Japanese garden which is surrounded with the beautiful blossoms of Rhododendrons.
Description of the KIP
There is noway to change the knitting place but to knit in this garden. Knitting in the nature is magic. This year again we, knitters unite and knit very special thing. We cannot sit calmly and watch how Ukrainian people suffer. The knitters know the best that warm and cosy socks from thin sock yarn is the most needed (even in chilly summer days) not only for Ukrainian soldiers but also for Ukrainian children, women and for all from the suffering country. Prizes for those who during the day will knit the pair! We teach the beginners. Children are always welcome!
What to bring
Don’t forget: needles of no.2-2,5; umbrella, snacks, water or tea, folding seat and… a good mood.
Backup plan:
There are some wooden shelters in Japanese garden. So in case or rain we will be safe.
