We will meet here:
Right across Hackney, East London
116 Lower Clapton Road
E5 0QR London
Start at any of the ELYT shops: Fabrications E8, Knit with Attitude N16 or Wild and Woolly E5
Description of the KIP:
The East London Yarn Triangle is thrilled to announce a new knitters' treasure hunt for the 2017 WWKIP Day. Show up at any one of our three shops: Fabrications E8, Knit with Attitude N16 or Wild and Woolly E5 to pick up your route map complete with knit-stops and a list of prizes. Knit your way around the route, find the secretly stashed balls of wool, take instagram snaps as you go, and pop into the shops for a chance to pick up a Golden Ticket, and a pile of woolly prizes to boot!
What to bring:
If you're walking the route wear comfortable shoes – it's about 30-45 minutes walk between each shop. If you're taking the bus or train, don't forget your Oyster card! Picnic-ers should take a route going through Stoke Newington Common at lunch time so you can join in the yarn bombers for lunch.
In case of a down pour or route weariness :), all knitters are welcome to stop and hang out for as long as they like in any of the shops. Refreshments will be provided!
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
