Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 9:00 – 11:00
We will meet here:
De Soto Public Library
111 Houghton St.
54624 De Soto
Library parking lot / kitty corner from De Soto Post Office. Inside library if weather is rainy or too chilly.
Description of the KIP:
Knitters (and crocheters welcome) to come and knit for a couple hours in public to display (publicly) the joy of knitting! We have a large and talented group of knitters/crocheters in our area and want to try and instill these skills to the next generation! This goes hand-in-hand with the library’s regular Wednesday evening “Craft ‘n Gab” events held weekly at DPL from September through May (summers off). Be willing to discuss knitting/crochet and your love of it to passers-by and encourage others to learn and take up these great hobbies! The library will provide snacks and drinks.
What to bring:
A comfy portable chair (we’ll have shade tents) and your current project. If you want to learn, basic starting supplies will be available (and able to be checked out from the library!).
Event indoors at library if weather is uncooperative
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
