Why the two weekends this year?

: The second weekend of June is the same weekend as The United States' National NeedleArts Association's bi-annual conference.  Which means that each year some of the most enthusiastic yarn lovers can't participate in events.


Will the date change be permanent?

: Yes.  After 2009, WWKiP Day will always be held on the third Saturday & Sunday of June.
