Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 10 AM – 5 PM
We will meet here:
Stilly River Yarns
9913 271st St. NW
The shop is in the olive green bungalow at the corner of 271st and 99th in west Stanwood. Prominent nearby locations: Josephine, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Stanwood-Camano Food Bank/Thrift Store.
Description of the KIP:
Join us on the shop’s front lawn or front porch for a day of crafting in public! Whether you knit, crochet, weave, felt or spin, we’re going to publicly demonstrate and celebrate all of our crafty outlets on June 9.
If you attend, we’d love to have you plan on contributing a triangular pennant to a shop garland that we hope to add to and display prominently on special occasions/at shows. Details will be available on our website starting in late May 2018.
What to bring:
Water, a lawn chair (or blanket), snacks/lunch, parasols/umbrellas for shade, and maybe an extra cushion for the porch benches. Spinners/weavers, you may wish to also bring a non-slip mat or rug.
In case of rain, we’ll move to the porch/interior of the shop.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
