Date: June 9, 2018. Time: 11:00 am -3:00 pm
We will meet here:
Outside 84 Wallace St Braidwood on the footpath
84 Wallace Street
New South Wales
Wallace St is the main street of Braidwood NSW. The KIP will be on the footpath outside 84 Wallace St (fYREGALLERY and home of fYREWORKSHOPS).
Description of the KIP:
We will be knitting and crocheting beanies and small blankets to donate to the Central Desert appeal for warm clothes for babies and children during the cold night weather of the desert settlements. Small crocheted and knitted squares can be made into baby blankets and beanies can also be made from squares, so let’s get crafting. ☺
What to bring:
Bring yarn and needles or hooks (some will be available), a chair to sit on and maybe a knee rug to keep you warm.
The area is under cover and we will have a brazier going to provide some warmth. (If it is very cold or wet we will retreat inside the gallery.)
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
