We will meet here
Ona – all over the island
Our KIP coincides with Ona Knittingfestival, at the small, but stunning island Ona on the north west coast of Norway .
App. 1.5 hours from Molde, Ona can be reached by ferry from Aukra (Småge).
Description of the KIP
A Knit Story will attend the knitting festival, but will also make a rebus run that will take you knitting around the island. The knitting festival is open for all, and we will display some of our knitting projects at Stormly.
Special offers for KIP day participants, raffle, lots of nice places to gather outside if the weather is nice, if not we’ll all have to meet at Stormly or the café.
No need for a car – the island is less than 1 square km big 🙂
What to bring
Bring warm clothes, the weather can change fast. If you fancy watching the sea while knitting, bring something comfy to sit on, and perhaps something warm to drink?
Check the ferry schedule!!
If the weather is really bad we’re all welcome at Ona Strikkefestival at Stormly, or at the coffeeshop. If you would like to stay over, you can rent private rooms or stay at Ona Havstuer.
Is this KIP going to be exclusive to knitting?
Are there any bathrooms nearby?
This KIP is hosted by: Anita & Mariann
